Description: In this class, you will make a variant of the Ohashi kite with an appliqued graphic design inspired by a Frank Lloyd Wright art glass window, from the Darwin Martin house in Buffalo, NY. This kite is assembled from small cut fabric pieces and a pre-cut black “window” with pieces glued in place before being sewn. This class will take patience, attention to detail and careful management of the pieces while sewing.
What to bring: Sewing machine, notions, spray glue (the instructor will also have this), cutting mat.
Experience level: Intermediate and up
