Description: This is a unique box kite developed by myself over the last 6 years. The bridle and tail each have a 3 point connection to the spars, which makes it a very stable flier. The size is 65 inches across.

We’ll be using printed fabric for the class, which produces an interesting kite without spending class time on appliqué or painting. Students also have the option of bringing in their own pre-sewn/painted fabric to the class.

All the fittings in the kit are 3D printed. The hub and spar ends are hard ABS plastic. There are sewn-in nylon reinforcements in the wing tips. And finally, there are TPU plastic connectors at the bridle points. I’ve made the parts oversized and shaped to add to the looks of the finished kite.

What to bring: Sewing machine, notions and a hot cutting tool with a straight cutting tip and a pencil point tip.

Experience level: Intermediate on up!
