Description: You will make a paper and bamboo 4 inch high Cody kite from a printed pattern. Students can pre-select the pattern of your choice, (including white with black edges as traditional). Spend ½ an hour learning how to split bamboo to the desired size for your kite.

White glue in a pointed tip bottle *
Scissors *
Small Plastic clothes pins*
Small Cutting mat
Olfa knife or Exacto knife*
Bamboo knife if available *
Side cutter if available*
Marking pen
Straight edge, 6 to 12 inches*
One day worth of news paper
Light table if available
Experience level: Beginner and up
