Description: Turn your scraps into a new kite! This simple dellaporta features a sail made from your scrap material, with mesh panels on either side. Add a long scrap tail and you’ll have the most colorful kite in the sky. Wind range 8-20 mph.
What to bring: Sewing machine and notions, straight edges of varying sizes, a new can of Krylon 7010 Spray Glue (must be 7010), appliqué scissors. Your own bag of scraps if you like.
Experience level: Intermediate and up (students should have prior practice with appliqué and back-cutting)
