Description: Students will build a 4 foot octagon shaped kite surface with over 25 foot flow tails. The kite surface gives an excellent platform for appliqué work of choice. A number of variations for the flow tail configuration also exist. This kite was designed by Halit Cebed of Istanbul, Turkey. He has given me permission to present my version of his kite.
Experience level: Intermediate to expert
What to bring: Sewing machine and accessories, long straight edge, sharp utility knife, scissors may be substituted, cutting mat and rotary cutter.
