Description: Build a butterfly from ripstop nylon, designed by Didier Ferment. This kite flies a bit like a fighter. It doesn’t really resemble a butterfly in shape, but it does fly in a way that reminds you of a butterfly. It is a very simple kite to make. The most skilled kitemakers can probably make one in just a few hours. Decoration of the kite can be done later at home with paint or with appliqué.
What to bring: Sewing machine and notions, scissors and a straight edge
