Description: We will build a 3-foot “Hata” style kite using the Randy Tom (zig-zag)
sewing method for appliqué. Jose will have a graphic for you to use or you can create
your own that is 3ft x 3ft to fit the diamond shape kite skin. There will be a few color
choices for you to choose from and ribbon to make a tail.
What to bring: Sewing machine and notions. Black thread, appliqué scissors and a hot
tacker.
Experience level: Beginners on up
