Instructor: Rod Beamguard – The Roller Kite

Day & Time: Friday 9:00 AM, Class #1

Cost: $50.00, less if you provide your own fabric

Description: This class will construct a light to medium wind roller kite based on the roller kite developed by the Englishman Alick Pearson in the 1970’s. This kite is a wonderful low wind flier and won numerous reel out competitions in the late 1980’s. Class members will be able to choose the colors they would like before the start of OKR and may furnish their own fabric, cut to size, and do appliqué work as desired to personalize their kite.
Finished size is approximately 48” x 48”
Ladybugs in the picture are not included!

What to bring: Sewing machine and notions, double sided tape, super glue

Experience level: If you can sew a straight line, you will be able to finish the kite.
