Description: You will complete a sled kite that has room available for graphics of your choosing. You might even call this a grown-up version of the kids kite making activity found at many festivals. The sled will be made of rip-stop nylon and will be 42” tall by 56” wide, it will also include a bag for storage. You will sew reinforcements and edge bind the outside edges. Spar tunnels will be created for the wood dowels that will stiffen the sail and you will sew tails.
What to bring: Sewing machine and notions, 48” ruler and blue tape. A hot knife if you have one, if not, Ron will have one in class.
Experience level: Beginner on up!
